February is typical a quiet month for me. It's the month I use to pay off all the crazy spending I do over December and January... This February was going to follow the same pattern as all the others on the shoe front but as they say "expect the unexpected..."

It was the last day in Feb and I'm having a catchup session with my girl Lady S who takes me to this amazing Thai place in Covent Garden called Tamarai www.tamarai.com - you have so got to check it out. But before we get there I have to wait for her diva-ness to arrive as she is running on ethnic time...tut tut. Funny thing is I thought I was bad running on MsChiVious time...

What is there to do in Covent Garden while I'm waiting for Lady S? Hmmmmm....hello?!? Can you say shopping?!! So I wonder into a few shops with the bright and wonderful things all around me catching me my eye. Temptation is all around and I think I do very well not to fall into the trap.

So when I happen to waltz into Zara and come across these simple and chic wedge booties, I can't say no. I should reward myself for not being tempted by the spell of Covent Garden....ooopps
